Minc is looking for a part-time portfolio coordinator

We are looking for a responsible, detailed oriented and service-minded portfolio coordinator for a part-time role to help with the administration around investments in Fast Track Capital I and II, the investment company managed by Minc.

You will take care of the reporting and administrative and reporting tasks related to the investment company, look after the communication with investors and entrepreneurs and work closely with the Minc team with ad-hoc tasks related to the schemes. 

 

You will be an important part of a dedicated, dynamic and inclusive team to ensure that we run the administration, reporting and communication in a seamless way. 

 

The job will be project employment, part-time 40% with flexible working hours, based at Minc in Malmö. 

 

The ideal candidate has some relevant experience in the startup financing/ investment management arena or is interested and willing to learn and grow in this space. Students at the end of their studies are welcome to apply.

  • A business degree, or about to finish a relevant university degree in business administration or finance
     
  • Proven track-record of managing administrative work and writing reports

  • Outstanding organisational skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Swedish

ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

Your main duties will be to help us with the coordination and administration of our portfolio companies and investor relations which includes: 

 

  • Quarterly follow-ups with the entrepreneurs in the portfolio companies, collating of information for investor reports. 

 

  • Help writing bi-annual investor reports. 

 

  • Ongoing investor relations and liason as necessary with investors and entrepreneurs to collate data, share information etc. 

 

  • Track and report events relevant to the investments in the portfolio, such as capital events in each startup, and ensure relevant interests are followed-up on. 

 

  • Track and report portfolio development, compile relevant portfolio information for a frequently updated portfolio report.

 

  • Help further develop and document the internal investment processes.

 

  • Take part in the selection- and investment committees’ meetings and write recommendations for investments.

 

  • Carry out research and due diligence on potential investee companies. 

 

  • Prepare the investment agreements based on pre-defined agreements.

 

  • Administer and coordinate the portfolio follow on investments related to the co-investment scheme.

 

 

ABOUT FAST TRACK CAPITAL II AND FAST TRACK CAPITAL I

 

Minc is proud to be managing the business angel investments schemes Fast Track Capital I (FTC1) and Fast Track Capital II AB (FTC2), where business angels and the public venture capital firm Saminvest have invested funds into early startups from the Minc incubator and accelerator programs. 

 

Fast Track Capital I has invested in 10 of Mincs accelerator companies during 2017/2018. 

 

Fast Track Capital II is one of three new pilot initiatives across Sweden and a fantastic way in which Mincs startups can receive early-stage financing. Up to 40 startups will receive investments from the investment company in the coming 2 years, and we need some support in coordinating the investment process and portfolio management of these investments.
